A companion to the add-on tracking resolver-to-digital converter, RDC-VME, is a high- speed position capture (1 microsecond/position capture) board. This board in conjunction with an RDC4 module (see the RDC4 resolver-to-digital converter product) places the captured positions on the VME bus. The position capture can be triggered by one or more of the external TTL signals or via host-based software.
