HW1. The Mx4002 is a dual-axis stand-alone motion controller. This DSP-based motion computer with a large program space is suitable for demanding factory automation applications like those in machine tools and robotics. The Mx4002 is powered by 3 DSPs configured in a parallel processing architecture. Its programming support includes a C-like language that utilizes the Mx4’s computation engine to fuel its functions as a combined computer, PLC, and a motion controller for high-performance motion computer control applications.
